The Megger EVCA210 Electric Vehicle Charge-Point Adapter simulates the connection of an electric vehicle to the charging point. The user triggers the simulated charging process by using the rotary switch to select either the Proximity Pilot (PP) or Control Pilot (CP) states. The adapter can be used with a single or multifunction tester and appropriate connectors to verify the functionality and safety of single- and three-phase electric vehicle charge points in accordance with IEC/ EN 61851-1 and IEC/ HD 60364-7-722.

Test instruments can be front-mounted to the Megger EVCA210 Electric Vehicle Charge-Point Adapter’s mains socket or via the 4mm connection ports, L1, L2, L3, N and PE. Additionally, the Megger EVCA210 Electric Vehicle Charge-Point Adapter includes CP signal terminals via which an oscilloscope can be connected, thereby allowing the user to measure CP signals.
