An LED LCD display frame refers to the housing and peripheral mounting structure that contains and secures an LCD panel and LED backlight unit.Display frames provide mechanical support, electrical connections and protection for the LCD display components in an electronic device. In a typical LED LCD module, the LCD panel is extremely thin, consisting of polarised glass substrate sheets, liquid crystal materials in between, and polarising films.Since LCD glass sheets are fragile, the display needs to be encased by a protective structure or frame. The backlight LEDs that illuminate the LCD also require stable and precise positioning provided by the metal or plastic display frame.
